EVERY DREAM HAS A RIGHT TO LIVE

EVERY DREAM HAS A RIGHT TO LIVE

GLOBAL BIBLE STUDY LESSON

2 Kings 6:1-7

NOTE: This DREAM is not yours, but the Father’s ORIGINAL
DREAM for humankind and for you—HIS will, desire, and plan!

2 Kings 6:1-7, NIV The company of the prophets said to Elisha,
“Look, the place where we meet with you is too small for us. Let
us go to the Jordan, where each of us can get a pole; and let us
build a place there for us to live.” And he said, “Go.” Then one
of them said, “Won't you please come with your servants?” “I
will,” Elisha replied. And he went with them. They went to the
Jordan and began to cut down trees. As one of them wascutting
down a tree, the iron axhead fell into the water. “Oh, my
lord,” he cried out, “it was borrowed!” The man of God asked,
“Where did it fall?” When he showed him the place, Elisha cut a
stick and threw it there, and made the iron float. “Lift it out,” he
said. Then the man reached out his hand and took it.

INTRODUCTION:

Hebrews 6:1-2 KJV Therefore leaving the principles of the
doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto PERFECTION (teliotes – the
One who is perfect, the PERFECT ONE; only elsewhere translated
(KJV) as “FINISHER” in Heb. 12:2); not laying again the
foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward
God, Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and
of RESURRECTION OF THE DEAD, and of eternal judgment.

(2 Kg. 1-7) is first of all a PICTURE of how
that HUMANKIND (through ADAM) fell into JORDAN (death) and
was RETRIEVED, REDEEMED, RESURRECTED, and RESTORED
because of the piece of WOOD—the “STICK” of verse 6 points to
Calvary’s CROSS. There are truths here also for the RESTORATION
of the ANOINTING (or any aspect of the Christian walk).

From the standpoint of CHURCH GOVERNMENT—
fathers and SONS—this story reveals these principles:

(1) IRON– fetters and afflictions;
(2) AXE – war; and
(3) HEAD – the mind.

Every SON has a DREAM, and every DREAM has a right to
LIVE! Dreams DIE when SONS bring AFFLICTION upon themselves
because of the “double-mindedness” of their DUALITY

(Jas. 1:8), the civil WAR that rages in the MIND (Rom. 7) between
TWO natures (in ignorance of the FINISHED WORK of Rom. 8).
Only a genuine FATHER ministry (like ELISHA) can
RESURRECT that anointing, causing the lost DREAM to rise
from the murky waters of DEATH, rise to the top, and live again!

2 Kings 6:1, KJV And the SONS of the PROPHETS said unto
ELISHA, Behold now, the PLACE (spot, locality; condition)
where we DWELL (sit down, abide, remain, marry) WITH THEE
(sit before thee as a FATHER – in the SPIRIT) is TOO STRAIT for
US (the SCHOOL had grown because of Elisha’s INFLUENCE).

NOTE: “STRAIT” = “narrow, tight place; crowded; press,
compress or distress, restraint” (“too limited for us” – NAS;
“our dormitory is too small” – TLB).

2 Kings 6:2 LET US GO, we PRAY thee, unto (the heavily
WOODED banks of) JORDAN (descender; compare 2:6-13; 5:10-
14
), and TAKE (lay hold of, seize) THENCE (from THERE – this
BEAM can only be gotten at JORDAN, the place of DEATH to
self) EVERY MAN ('iysh) A BEAM, and LET US MAKE (fashion)
US (a CORPORATE purpose) A PLACE there, where WE may
DWELL (same as verse 1; Ex. 25:8). And he answered, GO YE.

NOTE: The WAY out of the PRESSURES of LIMITATION is to go
to JORDAN, the place of DEATH.

2 Kings 6:4-5 So he WENT with them. And when they came to
JORDAN, THEY (the prophets) CUT DOWN (with their AXES, the
SHARP INSTRUMENT—the WORD of the Lord, as in Eph. 6:17;
Heb. 4:12; Rev. 1:16
) WOOD (logs – a many-membered
HUMANITY).

5 But as ONE was FELLING a BEAM (operating his ministry;
“cutting down a tree” – NKJ), the AXE HEAD FELL (the HEAD
came off the HANDLE because it was too DRY – not enough
WATER, or HOLY GHOST) into the WATER (Jordan): and he
CRIED (out in distress or grief; shriek), and said, ALAS (used to
exclaim PAIN), MASTER (lord – Elisha)! for it was BORROWED.

NOTE: “AXE HEAD” = “iron” (the root word means, “to cut off”).
The “AXE HEAD” symbolizes the ANOINTED WORD or the
ANOINTING. The AXE was used as an agricultural tool or a
weapon of war. These IRON CHOPPING TOOLS were used to
clear forests, to cut wood, and to cut and shape stone. As a
WEAPON, battle axes (the axe mace or war club) or hatchets
could pierce armor. The SCEPTER, a symbol of AUTHORITY
used by KINGS (Rev. 1:6; 5:10), had its origin in the war mace.

PRINCIPLE: JESUS CHRIST is the anointed Word; Messiah, the
Anointed One (Lk. 4:18; Acts 10:38). Our “HEAD,” Heaven's
"BATTLE AXE,” was connected (joined) to the WOOD of His
HUMANITY. He destroyed every foe and is now the One who tills
and shapes the lives of men. His is a SCEPTER of righteousness
(Heb. 1:8). As KINGS and PRIESTS (Rev. 1:5; 5:10), we
submit our lives (our land) to the cutting edge of the Word of
God. We stay SHARP through prayer and our study of the Word
of God, lest we have to BORROW someone else’s ANOINTING!

NOTE: The word “BORROWED” (6:5) means, “to request, ask or
seek for; to enquire; begged, to practice beggary.” Too many
preachers in the FAST LANE of ministry ever emphasize
NICKELS, NOSES, and NAMES (name-dropping)—they are
PARROTS, not PROPHETS; they are an ECHO, not a VOICE.
COPY-CAT BEGGARS are ever BORROWING sermons, song
lyrics, ideas, concepts, plans, and even people—rather than paying
the price of PRAYER and STUDY in the WORD OF GOD to
hear for themselves the VOICE of the ORIGINATOR of all things!

POINT TO TEXT

2 Kings 6:6 And the MAN OF GOD said, WHERE FELL IT? And
he SHEWED him the PLACE (demonstrating true HUMILITY and
CONFESSION). And he CUT DOWN a STICK (the prophet had
his OWN sharp instrument), and CAST IT IN thither (throw, hurl,
fling); and the IRON did SWIM (“the axehead rose to the surface
and floated!” – TLB; “the axe swam on the surface” – Sept).
This pictures a RECOVERED and RESURRECTED ANOINTING!

PRINCIPLE: “WHERE FELL IT?” – WHERE did you let it FALL?
WHERE did you LOSE the ANOINTING? WHERE did your
DREAM die? WHERE in TIME? WHERE, in which AREA, of your
life? Be mature, be honest—show your MASTER that particular
PLACE and let Him restore you and your DREAM.

Isaiah 53:8, KJV HE (Messiah) was taken from prison and from
judgment: and who shall declare His generation? for He was
CUT OFF out of the land of the living: for the transgression of
my people was He STRICKEN (inflicted with blows, wounded;
metaphorical of DISEASE; also the mark of leprosy—SIN).

Isaiah 53:8, TLB From prison and trial they led Him away to His
DEATH. But who among the people of that day realized it was
their SINS that He was dying for—that He was suffering their
punishment?

Luke 19:10, KJV For the Son of man is come to seek and to save
THAT which was LOST (put out of the way).

1 Samuel 30:18-20, KJV And DAVID (King Jesus) RECOVERED
ALL (naw-tsal’ – snatch away, strip, plunder; deliver) that the
AMALEKITES (Esau – the flesh – ADAM) had carried away: and
David RESCUED (same word) his TWO WIVES (both Jew and
Greek in one Body by the cross, as in Eph. 2:11-22).
19 And there was NOTHING LACKING to them, neither small
nor great, neither sons nor daughters, neither spoil, nor any
thing that they had taken to them: DAVID RECOVERED ALL.
20 And David took all the flocks and the herds, which they
drave before those other cattle, and said, This is David’s SPOIL.

NOTE: “CUT DOWN” (6:6) – This is kaw-tsab’, a different word
than verse 4, and it means, “to clip or chop; to cut off, to shear;
to cut evenly; SHAPE or SIZE EVENLY,” and is translated as
“even shorn” in Song 4:2, KJV. JESUS was the AXE HANDLE,
the PATTERN SON who was SHAPED and FORMED by the
FATHER—ATTACH yourself, JOIN yourself, to HIM!

PRINCIPLE: “(Elisha) cut down a STICK” (6:6) – This pictures
JESUS CHRIST the MESSIAH, the little “STICK” (the little BABY
of Bethlehem’s manger in the INCARNATION of His HUMANITY),
who, by the PROPHETIC WORD, was “CUT DOWN” at the Cross
and “CAST” (hurled) into the midst of the “WATERS” of DEATH,
and an unregenerate humanity tossed in SIN (Isa. 57:20-21).

Jesus alone has RECOVERED and RESURRECTED the
ANOINTING (the DREAM of DOMINION) LOST in the Garden by
the first Adam (Gal. 3:13-14)! This “STICK” that was evenly
shaped and sized by the prophet was a new HANDLE for the
AXE HEAD. The iron SWAM by attaching itself to this HANDLE!
King JESUS—Handel’s MESSIAH—can HANDLE your situation!

Revelation - Point

2 Kings 6:7 Therefore said he, TAKE IT UP (raise or lift) to THEE
(make it personal). And he PUT OUT (sent out, stretched out – an
APOSTOLIC recovery) his HAND (Eph. 4:11), and TOOK it.

PRINCIPLE: The young man put out his HAND (an operation of
the fivefold ministry, as in Eph. 4:11), and TOOK (same word as
in verse 2) the RESTORED AXE HEAD (the principle of a
RESTORED LIFE or MINISTRY). Each of us must take full hold
of this MIRACLE of RESTORATION and RECOVERY that the
Lord has provided! Every LOST DREAM has a right to LIVE! It’s
a NEW DAY in this place—take hold of your LOST DREAM again!
APPLICATION: BINDING and LOOSING is THREE-dimensional

APPLICATION: BINDING and LOOSING is THREE-dimensional:

1. Outer Court – NO binding and loosing (no Holy Ghost)!
2. Holy Ghost – the NEGATIVE (Psa. 149:5-9) – STILL in effect!
3. Most Holy Place (Third Day) – the POSITIVE; to “BIND” (deo)
is a COVENANTAL operation. We AGREE with the HEAVENS
and that which God has ALREADY BOUND (every PROMISE)!

It's first starts with me!! (I Have A New Attitude)

It's first starts with me!! (I Have A New Attitude)

Thursday 25, 2010 - GLOBAL BIBLE LESSON
MATTHEW 15:17-20

IT'S TIME TO BECOME SMARTER THEN THE ENEMY!!!

ITS TIME TO COMPEL OUR INWARD ABILITY!

THE PLACE WHERE WE SHUN AND FORSAKE!

THE PLACE WHERE WE UNFOLD THE MYSTERIES AND THE FULLNESS OF THE RISEN CHRIST WITHIN US!

IT'S TIME TO BREACH THE LAW OF BONDAGE AND HISTORICAL SETBACKS!!!

IT'S TIME TO ALLOW THE BLOOD OF CHRIST TO SPREAD IN OUR LIVES LIKE NEVER BEFORE!!!!

THE POWER OF ATTITUDE

Next to knowing Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, nothing is more important than having a good positive attitude.

Your attitude can:MAKE OR BREAK YOUHEAL OR HURT YOUMAKE YOU FRIENDS OR MAKE YOU ENEMIESMAKE YOU HAPPY OR MAKE YOU MISERABLEMAKE YOU A SUCCESS OR MAKE YOU A FAILURE

1. FACT #1; YOUR ATTITUDE - REVEALS THE REAL YOU

Your attitude is more important than:
facts
- circumstances
- what others say
- it’s more important than your past
- your education and your money.

Your attitude is more important than anything else. And Understand that your attitude is much deeper than just a few thoughts you might think or not think.

Your attitude comes out of the core of your being. Your attitude represents your disposition, your outlook, your very character. The Bible says in Pr 23:7; "For as a man thinks in his heart, so he is..." (NKJV)

MATTHEW 15:17-20

Point - Your attitudes always become actions or reactions.

FACT #1; YOUR ATTITUDE REVEALS THE REAL YOU.FACT #2 YOUR ATTITUDE DETERMINES THE SUCCESS AND FAILURE OF EVERY RELATIONSHIP IN YOUR LIFE.What a difference your attitude makes! Your attitude affects every relationship in your life. And sometimes relationships will never get started in the first place -- because many times your attitude has built up walls... making it difficult for people to be around you.Bad attitudes effect your marriage relationships/your relationship with your kids/at work/at church/friendsAnd the thing that makes a bad attitude so destructive is that like the jar of water with the loose lid on it, a bad attitude is eventually going to spill out into some negative actions - destructive words and deeds.

In Numbers 12:1-11, we read about 2 brothers and a sister. One brother Moses, had a good attitude. The Bible says that "Moses was a humble man, more humble than anyone on the face of the earth.." In other words, Moses was teachable and cooperative. He treated people as he wanted to be treated and he lived a life that was properly lined up with his heavenly father. But Moses’ brother Aaron and His sister Miriam on the other hand, chose a bad attitude - and they eventually spilled out. Miriam seems to have had the worst attitude and she infected her brother, Aaron. In verse one of Numbers 12 we read, "Miriam and Aaron began to talk against Moses because of his cushite wife.."

POINT- They are family members whom Moses thought he could count on and trust, going around behind his back, criticizing him, stirring up trouble among God’s people against their leader, their own brother Moses.

- YOU CAN NEVER TRUST PEOPLE WITH A BAD

ATTITUDE BECAUSE THEY WILL DO THINGS THAT YOU NEVER THOUGHT THEY’D DO

Change your circle!!!!

Miriam had a bad attitude

Most people who stir up trouble do so not out of right spirit & reasons but out of bad attitudes. The fact that Moses had married a Cushite wife was not the real problem - it just shook Miriam’s up. This was just a symptom, an excuse. The real problem was that Miriam had a longstanding bad attitude. This bad attitude stemmed from her jealousy of her brother’s position and leadership. And out of her own poor self-esteem she allowed herself to become critical and choose to cause trouble.Often times the things that we criticize and get all stirred up about are not the problem at all. The problem is our own sour, sick, bad attitude.I’ve seen and you have seen; bad attitudes;Destroy; relationships, marriages, families, work environments, church services...etcYou see whenever you have an individual or a group of people filled with a bad attitude and wearing a loose lid, trouble is bound to happen, things will rapidly get negative.

FACT#3 YOUR ATTITUDE IS ALWAYS YOUR CHOICE

Without a doubt, the human mind is the most awesome creation of God. With it, God has given us the ability to think, to, reason and to choose whether we will focus on positive thoughts or negative thoughts. In every one of our lives there is the positive and the negative. The choice as to which one we will focus on and feed, nurture is up to us. Understand You can’t choose what will happen to you today (it’s beyond your control) -- but you can choose your own attitude - we each have the power to decide how we will respond to what happens to us. - You have the power to choose his own attitude.

- You can choose not to give an attitude to your enemies.
- Just chose joy,
- Choose hope,
- Choose to be positive.

"I HAVE EVERYTHING I NEED FOR JOY!
No matter what has happened to you (some of you have had tough times; bad marriages, health$...etc), the attitude choice though is still yours. And understand that Jesus Christ wants to help you choose and cultivate a positive attitude.
Choose our own attitude!!!!!

For you see to blame our bad attitudes on another person or on a difficult circumstance is simply a cop-out. And If we allow events and people to cause us to be negative we are only hurting ourselves more because in addition to everything else we are know forced to live with the effects and misery our bad attitudes will bring.

Misery Loves Company!!!!!!
YOUR ATTITUDE REVEAL THE REAL YOU DETERMINES THE SUCCESS OF EVERY RELATIONSHIP IS ALWAYS YOUR CHOICESTEP ONE START SPEAKING POSITIVE WORDS

first step in becoming a more positive person is to work at learning to speak positive words.

- It does not come naturally.
- It is always easier to talk negatively, to criticize.

POINT- The reality is that you help create the atmosphere in which you live by the words you speak.

1. When your words are positive, you produce a creative, loving, accepting, positive environment.
2. On the other hand when you speak negative words you create suspicion, mistrust and a can’t do anything right atmosphere.- Eliminate negative words,
- Do away with words that hurt and tear down,
- Replacing them with positive words, words that build up, edify and encourage other people.

STEP TWO NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS LOOK FOR GOOD AND YOU WILL FIND IT
And what a positive person does is develop the habit of looking for the best results even from the worst conditions...

- PEOPLE TEND FIND WHAT THEY ARE LOOKING FOR.

- WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING FOR NEGATIVE OR POSITIVE?STEP THREE IS TO TAKE CHARGE OF YOUR THOUGHT LIFE

Let me share with YOU the 3 F’s of taking charge if your thought life:#1 FIX; "Fix your thoughts on what is true and good and right. Think about things that are pure and lovely, and dwell on the fine, good things in others. Think about all you can praise God for and be glad about it." (Phil 4:6,7 LB)We are not to let our mind wander all over the place, but rather we are to take command of it and choose positive thoughts over negative ones. #2 FILTER; Would you eat out of a garbage can that not only had garbage in it, but had maggots, poisons etc. To do so would be suicide. In like manner if you want to really take control of your thought life you need to filter the garbage out there. #3 FEED; Question: what are you feeding your mind? It matters what we feed our physical body, doesn’t it? Many diseases we have today, from cancer, heart disease to no energy result from an improper diet. It is a fact that eating the wrong things can hurt you. But it is not enough to just stop eating the bad is it. Because if we do not start eating the good we will starve. In the same way it’s not enough to only filter out the garbage from our minds, we also have to feed on the good.-Garbage in garbage out-Good in - good out-There are many source of good books, music..etc-But the greatest source of good thoughts is God’s word.-Put God in get God out.

- Put God’s word into your mind and it will come out in your speech..Feed your minds on verses such as Ephesians 3:20, Is 41:10, Phil 4:19, Heb 13:6

STEP FOUR NEVER SURRENDER LEADERSHIP TO THE NEGATIVE -- ALWAYS LOOK FOR THE POSITIVE

Question: when you feel the mighty onslaught of a negative emotion, how do you handle it? Here’s what you need to do:
1. Admit it.
2. Face it.
3. But don’t give in to it.

You see, one way to destroy a negative emotion is to replace it for example:

REPLACE: anger with lovefear with faithcomplaining with gratitudebitterness with forgiveness judgment with acceptancefeeling sorry for yourself with helping someone else

Advice - Learn to pray out your emotions. Learn to cry them out and pray them out until your change come! Dis you know that Jesus prayed aloud and with emotion?

Hebrews 5:7, we read; "During the days of Jesus’ life on earth, he offered up prayers and petitions with loud cries and tears to the one who could save him form death and he was heard because of His reverent submission..."

Don't get it twisted! I am still moving on with the Lord!

Don't get it twisted! I am still moving on with the Lord!

2 Kings 7:2-4 (New International Version)
2 The officer on whose arm the king was leaning said to the man of God, "Look, even if the LORD should open the floodgates of the heavens, could this happen?"

"You will see it with your own eyes," answered Elisha, "but you will not eat any of it!"

3 Now there were four men with leprosy at the entrance of the city gate. They said to each other, "Why stay here until we die?
4 If we say, 'We'll go into the city'-the famine is there, and we will die. And if we stay here, we will die. So let's go over to the camp of the Arameans and surrender. If they spare us, we live; if they kill us, then we die."

Sometimes we sit at the place of decision in our lives and we are at a stand still.

Some of us may be on the break of there deliverance but at the same time some will become hindered!

It's not until we step out on faith and put our full trust in GOD is when our break through will happen!

Some of us will stay within a place of complacency and unsurelty! - At the same time we are decaying and losing ground!

In our spirit we often ask this question: 2 Kings 7:2 - Look, even if the LORD should open the floodgates of the heavens, could this happen?"

* You will see it with your own eyes," answered Elisha, "but you will not eat any of it!"

Point: we will see our appointed blessings awaiting but we will never eat of it if we are still at (the gates settling) in our lives!

Understand your since of urgency:

3vs Now there were four men with leprosy at the entrance of the city gate. They said to each other, "Why stay here until we die?

Your have to say to yourself why am I going to stay in my season of promise and perish when I right at the place of my breakthrough?
4vs If we say, 'We'll go into the city'-the famine is there, and we will die. And if we stay here, we will die.

The is famine - (The place where there is no bread of life) in the mist of our present residence.
We have pitched our tents here when God is telling us there is more he want to pull from out of you.

4vs So let's go over to the camp of the Arameans and surrender. If they spare us, we live; if they kill us, then we die."
I might parish if I go but if I take his word real in my life I won't fail!

Power point:
1. I never seen the righteous forsaken nor seen his seed begging bread!
2. He will never leave me nor forsake me!
3. A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.

It's about that time

Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 - To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:

1 Peter 5: 7-11 - Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
9Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.
10But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.
11To him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

Life has a way of frustrating you beyond belief. Things can happen that make you wonder if you are doing the right thing. Bills can become due before you have the money, relationships can fall aparthealth will fail you someday, all these thigs can make you want to quit and walk away the word of the Lord is Now is Not the TimeTime: an Indifinte and continuous diration regarded as that in which events succeeed one another.(2 Peter 3:8)...One day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.If this is so the how do we get into the timing of God?

1) Stay in the Game

A) Galatian 5 (Dont get weary)

B) Disturbed Vs Distracted (There is a difference between them)

2) Believe that you can win

A) Passion for the promise give you, Power for the problem

B) A little faith goes a long way3) Failure can never be an option

A) Know that you did not get this far to fail

1 Peter 5: 7-11 ....But the God of all grace puts us in place and in position...

Acts 18:24-28

Don’t Lose Your Mind

GLOBAL BIBLE STUDY LESSON

Ephesians 6:13-17
13vs Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14vs Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15vs and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16vs In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17vs Take the helmet of salvation…

Intro: It seems that each piece of armor in this list describes our conversion experience, saying something about how we came to faith in Christ. Truth, righteousness, gospel of peace, faith, salvation… these all come into play when we call on the Lord for forgiveness and experience a life change because of His grace at work in our lives. However, each of these also become an ongoing reality. Truth must be sought through diligent prayer and study. Righteousness is maintained by continually trusting in Jesus and His work on the cross. Peace with God is kept through humility and repentance, since God resists the proud. Faith or trust requires continual growth and must not become stagnant.

-Today, as we look at the helmet of salvation, we will see both a current and a future reality. When we first put our trust in Jesus to take care of our sin problem, we are covered by His goodness, saved from spiritual death, from doing life without God. The term “Salvation” means preservation or deliverance from destruction, difficulty, or evil.

-The helmet of salvation is one way Paul described the fact that Jesus has and will save us from certain destruction. We were doing life on our own without God, and were headed for the wrong finish line. We were going the wrong way, which would have ended badly, being separated from God forever in a place of suffering. That was not God’s plan for us! He offered us the only alternative (grace and forgiveness), and saved us from the trap of the enemy of our souls.
So Paul says that believers should take this helmet of salvation (bronze, leather with cheek pieces) and put it on (v.13 says to put on the full armor of God). Now why would Paul be telling those who are already followers of Christ to get their salvation on? Isn’t it already on? I think the main thing Paul meant to convey here was the idea that believers need to look at life through the lens of salvation. This perspective is more than just the fact that they are saved from who knows what right now, or saved from a worse life. That is important, but this helmet of salvation is an awareness of the continual and progressive nature of God’s work in us. What’s more, it helps us remember that our total salvation is closer than ever

- our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed. The crowning moment of our salvation will be the day when Jesus comes back to this earth in person to finalize what we’ve been waiting for – seeing Him and being joined to Him forever.

-And here is the main truth of the message today:Prop: Keeping a salvation mindset will protect us from distraction, disorientation, and discouragement as we keep our eyes on the prize.-Let’s look at what this helmet of salvation means and how it can affect our lives as we stand our ground against a fierce, dangerous enemy.

I. Head Protection against sin (past, present, future)-The first part of God’s salvation plan for us includes bringing us to a place where we recognize how much we need Him. We are struck by our own sinful choices and behavior and long to be free from the cycle of shame and failure. If we allow our faith to overcome our objections, we find ourselves calling on the Lord to forgive us and to change our hearts. And the cool thing is – He does! We experience a new birth on the inside! Our spirit is transformed within us and we begin to experience God’s salvation in our lives.

-This is amazing! Nothing on earth is like it! Only those who taste of it know how sweet it is! Where there once was bondage there is freedom. Where there was depression there now is joy! Where there was guilt and shame there is now peace and hope. The old has gone the new has come. We begin to get acquainted with Jesus through prayer and through the Bible, and it makes all the difference in the world! What a great thing God has done for us! We are at peace with God! The past is taken care of! But there is more to this salvation.

-God speaks to us through His Holy Spirit and helps us work out our salvation each and every day. We do not save ourselves. That was done by Christ alone when He died and rose again

II. Head Protection against confusion

-Head wounds can be fatal – the helmet keeps us from becoming disoriented. A blow to the head can really mess with your equilibrium and make you lose your balance and your focus. We can lose our balance in so many areas if we do not guard our minds.

-Paul warns about this in Romans 13:11-12 “…understanding the present time. The hour has come for you to wake up from your slumber, because our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed. 12vs The night is nearly over; the day is almost here. So let us put aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light.

-Do you ever think about the shortness of time? We don’t have forever on this earth. There is an urgency to this battle! Now will not always be now. Things will not always remain the way they are. Final salvation is coming. But along with it, final judgment for those who would go against God and His offer of life.

-If the enemy can keep us confused and off balance, we won’t even think to be concerned about those around us who need love, acceptance, and peace. We may go into self-preservation mode or survival mode, not having the strength or courage to help anyone else. This must not be! That is not what God has prepared us for! That is why we must keep our helmets on. As someone said, “Get your game on!” It’s so much more than a game. It is life – ours and the lives of others.

-Keep your wits about you. Ask the Lord to help you see things through the lens of eternity. Salvation is a huge thing because it is a forever thing! It is a huge thing because it is an irreversible thing! Hebrews 9:27 Just as man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment.

-Our enemy wants to confuse us, making us think that what we see with our physical eyes is most important. If we can just make a little more money and buy a few more things, and have a little more comfort, then we will be winning the battle. But that lie shouldn’t get past our belt of truth. It is a distortion of reality!

-Our enemy wants to confuse us about who we are, about who God is, and even about who our enemy is. God has given us the reality and the mindset of salvation to clear up any confusion about what is at stake here. God will save us, but we must keep trusting in His promises and obeying from our hearts. God doesn’t want you to live dazed and confused! He wants you to keep your head, know your resources, know your target, know the tactics of your opponent, and know that salvation is coming!

-The enemy will try to intimidate us into backing down. He will try to lull us to sleep. But God has given us protection for our minds that we need to receive and put on.

-We can be confident as we stand our ground because the helmet of salvation reminds us that our past is forgiven, our present is a work in progress, and our future is closer than ever – when Jesus comes back for those who are looking for Him. We don’t have to be intimidated or dazed and confused. When you don’t know, just trust! Trust that God will do all that He promised in His time. He has given us Truth, Righteousness, Peace, Faith, and Salvation.

-I’d like to leave you with some words Paul wrote to the church at Thessalonica. If you remember Peter wrote that the day of the Lord would come like a thief in the night. Well, Paul seems to respond to this in 1 Thessalonians 5:4-9 4 But you, brothers, are not in darkness so that this day should surprise you like a thief. 5 You are all sons of the light and sons of the day. We do not belong to the night or to the darkness. 6 So then, let us not be like others, who are asleep, but let us be alert and self-controlled.

7 For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk, get drunk at night. 8 But since we belong to the day, let us be self-controlled, putting on faith and love as a breastplate, and the hope of salvation as a helmet. 9 For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.

-Put on the hope of salvation as a helmet. The promise that Jesus is coming back for us so that we can be with Him forever gives us hope. That is the helmet of salvation. Are you ready for His return? Not everyone is.

Conclusion - Where is your helmet? Where is your hope of salvation? God has offered it. Have you taken it? Have you put it on to protect you from sin and from losing your focus? Do you believe Jesus, when He said He would come again and receive us to Himself? If that has not been a present reality to you, I pray that it will become real to you today. You can’t believe the rest of the Bible if you don’t believe one of the central promises of Scripture – Jesus is coming back to earth on a mission – to save you and all who call on Him in faith from a world that is going to be destroyed. Sound far-fetched? A lot of people think so. Please don’t be one of them. Heaven is real! God is real! Forgiveness is real! Salvation is real, and it is coming sooner than you think! I pray that you will never look at life the same again. When you wake up each day, remind yourself that you are one day closer to salvation, brought by a Savior who loves you more than you can imagine.

Make Ready For God’s Blessings "This Is Your Season"

Make Ready For God’s Blessings "This Is Your Season"

GLOBAL BIBLE STUDY LESSON
Thursday 4, 2010

Chronicles 7: 12-14 Often we tell ourselves we want God’s Blessing! We want to be Excited! We want to see God’s Blessings. But let me ask, what are you doing in your life to make ready for God’s Blessings? We hold the key of possibility
A. We have the most original response when Jesus says “Follow me.”

Luke 14:16-20
16 Then said he unto him, A certain man made a great supper, and bade many:

17 And sent his servant at supper time to say to them that were bidden, Come; for all things are now ready.

18 And they all with one consent began to make excuse. The first said unto him, I have bought a piece of ground, and I must needs go and see it: I pray thee have me excused.

19 And another said, I have bought five yoke of oxen, and I go to prove them: I pray thee have me excused.

20 And another said, I have married a wife, and therefore I cannot come.1. I need to go see the land I just bought2. Just bought 5 yoke of oxen and I need to see if they are any good.3. I can’t I’m married.

B. I believe we hold back the blessings that God has prepared for us.I. Would you check for Rain?

I Kings 8:42-45
42 So Ahab went up to eat and to drink. And Elijah went up to the top of Carmel; and he cast himself down upon the earth, and put his face between his knees,

43 And said to his servant, Go up now, look toward the sea. And he went up, and looked, and said, There is nothing. And he said, Go again seven times.

44 And it came to pass at the seventh time, that he said, Behold, there ariseth a little cloud out of the sea, like a man’s hand. And he said, Go up, say unto Ahab, Prepare thy chariot, and get thee down, that the rain stop thee not.

45 And it came to pass in the mean while, that the heaven was black with clouds and wind, and there was a great rain. And Ahab rode, and went to Jezreel.A. OK I looked and nothing.B. You want me to do this how many times?C. Surly there must be a better way.D. OK I will do what you said. VS. 45II. Would you Dig A Ditch?

II Kings 3:16-17, 20a
16 And he said, Thus saith the LORD, Make this valley full of ditches.

17 For thus saith the LORD, Ye shall not see wind, neither shall ye see rain; yet that valley shall be filled with water, that ye may drink, both ye, and your cattle, and your beasts.

20a. And it came to pass in the morning,A.Following direction is not always what we want to do but it is what God wants.

B.Obedience is not seeing the outcome but willing to do it anyway.III. Would You Borrow a Few Pots?

1 Now there cried a certain woman of the wives of the sons of the prophets unto Elisha, saying, Thy servant my husband is dead; and thou knowest that thy servant did fear the LORD: and the creditor is come to take unto him my two sons to be bondmen.

2 And Elisha said unto her, What shall I do for thee? tell me, what hast thou in the house? And she said, Thine handmaid hath not any thing in the house, save a pot of oil.

3 Then he said, Go, borrow thee vessels abroad of all thy neighbours, even empty vessels; borrow not a few.

4 And when thou art come in, thou shalt shut the door upon thee and upon thy sons, and shalt pour out into all those vessels, and thou shalt set aside that which is full.

5 So she went from him, and shut the door upon her and upon her sons, who brought the vessels to her; and she poured out.

6 And it came to pass, when the vessels were full, that she said unto her son, Bring me yet a vessel. And he said unto her, There is not a vessel more. And the oil stayed.

A. We look for advice and when we get it we often do not follow.

B. The oil stopped when the pots were full.

1. If I would have only known

2. Why didn’t we get more pots?

C. Knowing and Doing is our problem.

We want to handle it our way!I

V. Make Ready

Malachi 3:10

10 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

A. We are holding back as to God’s direction. B. What could be for those who chose to obeyConclusion:Getting ready means not doing what man says is right, but rather what God wants.

2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.Don’t let strife be the cause of a missed blessing.

Proverbs 13: 10 Only by pride cometh contention: but with the well advised is wisdom.

James 3:16 For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.Note: I make no claim of originality. I just want to be a blessing to others. All Scripture in KJV.Use this as you wish.

IT'S TIME TO TURN THE PAGE

It's Time to Turn the Page

It's Time To Let It Go!

Sunday Morning Service - Blessed Trinity Church Of Deliverance
February 14, 2010

Philippians 3:12-14 – 12 Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already been made perfect, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me.

13 Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead,

14 I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus. Five lessons we can learn from Paul:

1. We all have an imperfect past.None of us can look at our past and see nothing we aren’t ashamed of.We all have blemishes and stains that we’d just as soon no one knew about or that we’d just as soon forget.

The apostle Paul was no different. He had a pretty ugly past in persecuting the Church of Christ, and my guess is that he had plenty of time to reflect on the shame of that.

But we also have to remember that Paul was a RELIGIOUS PERSON even before he met Christ.

He was a Pharisee, he was an up and coming religious leader who had the trust of the religious establishment in place during the early days of the Church.

He could quote Scripture, he attended the synagogue probably every week, he had it going!!But all of his religion didn’t keep him from having a past that he didn’t treasure as time went by.

You might have grown up in church, you might have been involved in church, you might have been a church leader of some sort. But just the same, you have an imperfect past.

It’s imperfect because of the presence of sin in your life.
It’s imperfect because you have chosen your way over God’s way many times.
And there’s no way to get away from that fact. But the second lesson we can learn from Paul is that…

2. We don’t have to be a slave to that past.Paul could have said, “Look.

1. I put people in prison,
2. I voted for the death penalty for Christians I arrested.
3. There is no hope for me, and there is no way I could ever be used by Christ.

”But he insisted here that he had something work moving on for.He could look back on the fact that Christ redeemed him from his past, and was continually working in him.He says here that in spite of his past, he was moving on.

Inspite of the pitfalls - I'M MOVING ON
Inspite of the stupid mistakes - I'M MOVING ON
Inspite of my past it's time to - TURN THE NEXT PAGE IN MY LIFE!

How does he say it? “Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what’s ahead.”He recognized his past, but he refused to be a slave to it.

1. I'm not going to be a slave to - Depression
2. I'm not going to be a slave to the memory of the - Rejection in my life
3. I'm not going to be a slave to the reflection that - Almost killed me

Paul was a few years away from his death when he wrote this book.He was under house arrest, with a Roman guard hanging out all the time, in a time when being a Christian was a pretty dangerous thing. Here’s a guy who had an imperfect past, and then had decades of fruitful ministry.

I know i have be a disappointment but now is the time to be fruitful!!

I having giving God my best!

Pastor, I know I could have giving my best and I seen you struggling and all I did was complain. Paul was the most successful evangelist and church planter in the history of the early church. And yet he still felt he had something to shoot for and work for.

1. Paul still was'nt satisfied

Have you ever been to a place in your life that just going to CHURCH every sunday was'nt enough?

It was more!!!!

He still felt that he had a ways to go in his relationship and service for Christ. And in spite of his circumstances, he still wanted to strengthen those things.

They might think they’ve got it all together and don’t need to work on strengthening their relationship with Christ.Or they may be in a particular life situation that causes them to think that it’s not worth the effort.

I don't care were you are at!

Your faith maybe low today due to circumstances that took place!
We can see that it’s never too late, and our circumstances don’t need to stand in the way of our effectiveness for Christ.

3. No matter our current circumstances, we can move on to better and greater things.Paul was an old man, under house arrest in Rome, just a few years from putting his head on the chopping block when he wrote this letter to the Philippians. He could have just sat back and “retired” from living for Christ and from ministry, but

he still had work to do.

1. It didn’t matter that he was under house arrest.
2. It didn’t matter that he was an older man.
3. It didn’t matter what his current circumstance was.
4. He needed more of Jesus and he was willing to make the effort to make it happen.

Point ~

1. Refuse to blame your past for your present, or let it ruin your future.

2. You can’t go back into your childhood, that marriage, or a past failure Accept it!

3. Dismiss what used to be.

4. Move on and turn the page!

Isaiah 43:19 “Remember not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing.”

It's TIME TO TURN THIS PAGE!!!!

THE GOSPEL ACCORDING TO (YOU)

THE GOSPEL ACCORDING TO (YOU)

Thursday - GLOBAL BIBLE STUDY LESSON

January 28, 2010

The question is how do you see your gospel?

How loud is the eco sound of the faith according to your gospel?

Often times we will protest against our on nature & Identity do to our condition and horrific circumstances. At the same time we are informed by the spirit of God concerning the seed of our own (gospel - word) that the father has formed pronouns out of himself by way of prophesy concerning as us.

Although we have thing in this system trying to define us stating that you are: Unattractive, Too Short, Too black, Too pale, Too fat, or Too skinning God had stated in your spirit that he had have defined you!

(You are beautifully and wonderfully made)

BEFORE TIME - Our Father knew that your:

1. Your Mother was going to make that mistake & slipped up at the age of 16 yr old
2. Your biological father was married with 2 other kids and your mom was the mistress
3. You was the prodigy of a rape baby

BUT IN GOD'S EYES IT DID 'NT MATTER HOW YOU'VE ARRIVED TO THIS PLANET YOU WAS GOING TO WIND UP BEING THE HEAD AND NOT THE TAIL!

YOU JUST HAD TO GET HERE - THAT'S WHY YOU BEEN THROUGH SO MUCH!

And with this same word it is spoken BEFORE WE KNEW IT! in hopes that we will reply verbally coming into the understanding by faith and make a spiritually decision to promote this express thought (God's vision concerning you) to the earth baring witness that JESUS LIVES

1. Jesus knew that faith and obedience must be expressed in new actions for maturing believers. When the Lord Jesus invited Peter to walk on the water He said, "Come." Peter got down out of the boat, walked (On Faith) toward Jesus. But when he saw the (Wind - Currant, Distractions,) he was (Afraid- Brought into the reality) and beginning to (Sink - Results of the Faith/Gospel According to peter), cried out, "Lord, save me!" Jesus said, "You of little faith, why did you doubt? You was right there" (Matt. 14:29-31)

Same of us be right at the brink of our blessing and we panic!!!

Point - Often new experiences require a higher level of faith and obedience. Let the Lord show you greater things as you express a new willingness to venture in uncharted waters of relationships, ministries and obedience.

Illustration: Faith and works should travel side by side, step answering to step, like the legs of men walking. First faith, and then works; and then faith again, and then works again -- until they can scarcely distinguish which is the one and which is the other.

2. Jesus honored people who risked shame, frustration and disappointment in coming to Him by faith. A Canaanite woman came crying to Jesus, "Lord, have mercy on me! My daughter is suffering terribly from demon-possession. The disciples said, ’Send her away’. The came and knelt before Jesus and said, "Even the dogs eat the crumbs that fall from their masters’ table.’ Then Jesus answered, "Woman, you have great faith! Your request is granted. And her daughter was healed was healed from that very hour." (Matt. 15:22-28) Be willing to risk in order to see God work great things for you and your situations. Illustration: God our Father has made all things depend on (Law of faith) so that whoever has faith will have.....

4. Jesus remembered how His Father in heaven told Abram, "Leave your country, your people and your father’s household and go to the land I will show you." I will make you into a great nation and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing." (Gen. 12:1,2) The Lord Jesus realized that all people are tempted to stay with what is familiar and secure, but God calls them to greater places throughout life.

Point - God say go with your gut and leading of my spirit thought your own conscience and GO TO THE LAND THAT I WILL SHOW YOU.

Some of us has been lingering in our self- employed land with no intention of conqouring true purposes, relationship and identity with GOD!

~ Some of us have vision and dreams that are lying dormant!
Ask the Lord to help you to be more like Abraham who staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief, but who grew strong in faith being fully persuaded that what God promised, He was able to deliver. (Rom. 4:20,21)

5. Jesus called the disciples out of their vocational and family security to become full time fishers of men. The Lord Jesus called Peter and Andrew while they were casting a net into the lake of Galilee. He said, "Follow Me and I will make you fishers of men." (Matt. 4:19) We may not know of the changes ahead, but we can be confident in the character of our leader who does not change. (Heb. 13:8)

Where God leads, He provides - have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread (Psalms 37:25)

6. Jesus knew that the majority of believers would remain unwilling to change their jobs, their schedules or their relationships for fear of trying something new. The Lord Jesus said, "Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has been pleased to give you the kingdom." (Luke 12:32) Ask the Lord’s help in overcoming your fears of change.

7. Jesus knew how to motivate people to try new things. Jesus sent 72 disciples out two by two ahead of him to every town and place where he was to preach. He told them, "The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest to send workers into his harvest field_ He who listens to you listens to me; he who rejects you rejects me. IF A PEOPLE IS WILLING TO TAKE INSTRUCTIONS IS FIT FOR THE NEXT LEVEL

The 72 returned with joy and said, ’Lord, even the demons submit to us in your name.’"(Luke 10:1,16,17)

Ask the Lord for wisdom, knowledge and passion to motivate your disciples to try new ministries for His kingdom purposes.

POINT- Sometimes these disciples can be your mind, body, or just plan YOU!
We have to moviate & speak to ourselves then we will start to move and take action!8. Jesus wanted people to see greater things through their new ministries. Jesus said, "Unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds. The man who loves his life will lose it, while the man who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life. Whoever serves me must follow me." (John 12:24-26) In order to see greater things we must be willing to lay aside some of our comfortable lifestyle and surrender it fully follow our Lord and His ministries.Ask the Lord to help you to escape from your comfort zone and follow the Jesus wherever He takes you.

Conclusion: Faith and Obedience must be expressed in new actions for maturing believers. Don't be afraid to walk out on faith like Peter! He walk on the faith and Jesus said, "Come." the key is when you hear the Lord say "come" and your flesh protest against it labeling your Gospel "I'm afraid according to (Your Name) " that us when you know you must go!! Peter got down out of the boat, walked (On Faith) toward Jesus.

THE GREAT RECONNECTION - NOW IS THE TIME!

THE GREAT RECONNECTION! - NOW IS THE TIME!!

Thursday - GLOBAL BIBLE STUDY LESSON

January 13, 2010

Numbers 18:7 But only you and your sons may serve as priests in connection with everything at the altar and inside the curtain. I am giving you the service of the priesthood as a gift. Anyone else who comes near the sanctuary must be put to death."

YOU ARE HOLY AND SET APART

The word Jesus uses for “holy” is a word that has two distinct meanings. (1) The root meaning means simply to “set apart.” In that basic use the word means to take something that is ordinary and make it special. It’s used that way in the O.T. when in the Ten Commandments it talks about the Sabbath being holy. Take the ordinary day, for the Jews it was Saturday, and set it apart for worship, rest and spiritual priority. It is used in the N.T. in describing Christians. 1 Peter 2:9 calls Christians “God’s holy nation.” A follower of Christ is set-apart by God’s forgiveness and should be set-apart from those who do not believe by the way they live.

- Because of our conditions and settings this will prohibit us from knowing this revelation in our spirit by the spirit

2Tim. 1:9 says that God has “saved us and called us to live a holy life.”

JESUS NAME IS ABOVE ALL AND GOD NAME HAS ALWAYS BEEN HOLY

A follower of Christ is set-apart by God’s forgiveness and should be set-apart from those who do not believe by the way they live. 2Tim. 1:9 says that God has “saved us and called us to live a holy life.”But Jesus chose the second meaning of the word “Holy”here. You see if Jesus has used the first meaning than God and His Name would of had to be first unholy or ordinary and be made holy or special. But God did not become holy. He is, always has been, and always will be “holy.”

RECOGNIZING THE CROSS AS OUR POWER

In our text, Paul writes to the church at Corinth about the wisdom of preaching the truth of the cross of Christ. Paul explains that those who are saved recognize the cross as a symbol of the power of God. But to those outside of the faith, the church seems to be involved in foolishness.

What is this foolishness of which Paul speaks? Maybe it’s the command to love your enemies or to pray for those who use you. Maybe it’s your belief that what you hope for will become evident through your faith. Maybe it’s your belief that you are blessed when men revile you and persecute you, and utter all manner of evil against you falsely. Now, notice in our text, it says, "For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God”.

- Romans 10:14 reminds us that the first step to releasing the power of God is by hearing the Word of God. Hear the Word of God: ”How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed?
"And how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard?
"And how can they hear without a preacher?”

- Verse 17 says this: “So faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God.”Singing, praying, testimonies and other forms of worship are inspiring to me, but it is the Word of God that connects us to our power source. It is the Word of God that directs me to the foot of the Cross.

THE POWER OF THE CROSS

When Paul spoke of the cross as the power source for Believers, he was not talking about anything else but when Paul spoke of the cross as the power source for Christians, he referred to what the cross symbolizes…that symbolism includes the sacrifice of Christ, His blood shed on Calvary, His death, burial, resurrection, and ultimately our salvation.

FROM SHAME TO GLORY AND POWER

The crucifixion of Christ transformed the cross from a symbol of shame and embarrassment to a symbol of the Mighty Power of God. The Cross-embodies this symbol because Christ’s death on the cross-blotted out all sin and man’s foolish laws from which there could be no redemption.

Example: What look to be an embarrassment God is switching it to Glory!

1. That shame that almost took you out - GOD IS SWITCHED IT
2. This very shame was the very times you wanted to RUN AWAY - GOD SWITCHED IT
3. This very shame was the lack of love made you feel abandon - GOD SWITCHED IT

GOD ERASED THE INK OF GUILT

Paul wrote in his letter to the Colossians, Chapter 2:14; “blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us which was contrary to us, (Christ) took it out of the way, nailing it to His cross.”But to those of us who are called, both Jew and Greek, Christ is the power of God and the wisdom of God. Those of us who are believers know that, at the foot of the cross, we find our ability, our strength, and our power. That power lights our path. That power keeps us going when we would give up. That power heals us. Save us, and redeems us.

THE JOY OF THE LORD IS OUR REGENERATING RESOURCE

Nehemiah 8:10 - neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the LORD is your strength.

Acts 20:24 - But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.

Our source of power, strength along with wisdom and direction is attached to JOY

(Point) - Disconnect yourself from devices that is going to setup stumbling blocks towards your course!

STAND IN YOUR RIGHT & GOVERNMENT

1. Don't just settle for a season (which is limited) but live in the bosom of your right in the father by FAITH!

2. Be instinct in season and out of season - Be the same at all times! Think the same at all times!

- Press through the storm!
- Keep your Joy!
- Maintain your Character & Integrity!

3. Know that your condition is a limited delusion - Override your condition by living in the spirit (Supernatural)

- Become wiser today then your yesterday!

Open up the GREAT AWARENESS of your governmental authority!

(Point) - Only employees can use employee discounts! Customers are allowed the ability to function through sales & clearances according to the time and season (This is limited access).

My Question it why would the employee not use his rights (Privileges as an employee)?
Does he not know that he is an employer?

My Conclusion
- The Enemy has been a modern day "Gehazi" shunning us away from the hidden truth! We were sent and meant to help out the troubled woman who's child was dead. There people in the body of Christ like the troubled woman who's baby (vision, purpose, ministry) is not breathing, that will become towards your feet. We must become coherent and aware through the Wisdom of Christ... If not, Gehazi (The deceiver, Delusional Pictures) will use conditions in your life so that you can't see your governmental estate and your Heavenly designed.

2 Kings 4:27 And when she came to the man of God to the hill, she caught him by the feet: but Gehazi came near to thrust her away. And the man of God said, Let her alone; for her soul is vexed within her: and the LORD hath hid it from me, and hath not told me.

MATURITY FOR THE NEXT LEVEL!!!

Maturity For The Next Level!!
The Laws Of Management

January 03, 2010 Sunday Morning 11:00 am

Luke 16:1-13 (NIV)

The Parable of the Shrewd Manager

1 Jesus told his disciples: "There was a rich man whose manager was accused of wasting his possessions.

2 So he called him in and asked him, 'What is this I hear about you? Give an account of your management, because you cannot be manager any longer.'

3 "The manager said to himself, 'What shall I do now? My master is taking away my job. I'm not strong enough to dig, and I'm ashamed to beg— 4I know what I'll do so that, when I lose my job here, people will welcome me into their houses.'

5 "So he called in each one of his master's debtors. He asked the first, 'How much do you owe my master?'

6 " 'Eight hundred gallonsa] of olive oil,' he replied. "The manager told him, 'Take your bill, sit down quickly, and make it four hundred.'

7 "Then he asked the second, 'And how much do you owe?' " 'A thousand bushelsb] of wheat,' he replied. "He told him, 'Take your bill and make it eight hundred.'

8 "The master commended the dishonest manager because he had acted shrewdly. For the people of this world are more shrewd in dealing with their own kind than are the people of the light.

9 I tell you, use worldly wealth to gain friends for yourselves, so that when it is gone, you will be welcomed into eternal dwellings.

10 "Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much. 11So if you have not been trustworthy in handling worldly wealth, who will trust you with true riches?

12 And if you have not been trustworthy with someone else's property, who will give you property of your own?

13 "No servant can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and Money."

He called the debtors in one by one.

"How much do you owe?" "One hundred measures of oil." The steward said, "Then change it to fifty." Another debtor came to his desk. "What is your debt?" "One hundred measures of wheat." "Then take the pen and write down eighty." And so it went. When the master discovered this trickery, he was, believe it or not, impressed.Oh, he was disturbed. Certainly, he was angry. And the steward did lose his job. But, the master was also impressed.Jesus, author of this story, says there is something in the bad man’s action which is a good example. He said, "This fellow is a shrewd dude. He is a crook, but he is clever in a way you need to emulate."

POINT: Life, as he had experienced it, would soon be over. His days as a free-wheeling spender of another man’s wealth were ending. He took steps to prepare for living beyond.
Our Lord is teaching us lessons in life management.

"No matter how much or how little you may have in ability, opportunity, or wealth, you can manage your life in such a way as to be really rich."

If you would be truly successful, you must know that what you have, you have by the grace of God. You must know and live by the laws of life management. Then you will reap the rewards of life management.

What We Have, We Have By The Grace of GodThe principles of life management are built on the solid foundation of the grace of Almighty God.

In Ephesians 1, this foundation is spelled out in remarkable clarity. The Bible declares we have been selected by the Father because He loves us. We have been saved by the Son who died on the cross because of that love. We have been sealed by the Holy Spirit, assured of salvation forever, because of the love of our wonderful God and His grace.

Life management is not about getting into heaven. All who come to Christ will be in heaven. This is about reward in heaven. There is nothing you can do to save your soul except turn to God in repentance and faith in Jesus Christ.

Life management is a principle only for Christians. It has to do with living life in such a way as to one day hear the Father say, "Well done, good and faithful servant.

Because you have been faithful in a very little thing, you will be in authority over very much." Successful living then demands that you know and keep the laws of life management.

The Laws Of Life Management

Law 1: Do your best with what you have.

It does not matter in God’s eyes how much you have but how well you handle it.
Barnabas is praised for his large gift of land to the early church. The widow is lauded by our Lord for her gift of less than a penny. Someone said, "I am but one ... but I am one. I cannot do much ... but I can do something.

What I can do ... I ought to do. What I ought to do ... by the grace of God, I will do."

Law 2: What we manage is not ours.

All of us are like the steward, handling for awhile the property of another. The Bible declares, "The earth is the Lord’s and everything in it." If it is true that which can be lost is not really owned (and it is), then not even our lives are our own. Then the steward was a slave. He belonged to his master.

"In Him we live and move and have our being." Life, breath, and all things come from Him.Our time, talents, and resources are all His, given by His grace and controlled by His providence. If we are Christians, we have accepted the fact that He is our loving Master, and we will give an accounting to Him.

Food for thought: People who embezzle their lives from God are stuck with what they stole. Life management is to do your best with what you have. It is to know that what we manage is not ours.

Law 3: The things we manage are not real.
In verse 11 is a heavy question: "So if you have not been trustworthy handling worldly wealth, who will trust you with true riches?" The wealth of this world is not real because it does not last.

The Bible says of one who lusts after the treasures of earth, "when he dies, he shall carry nothing away."

Successful life management is a matter of exchanging a life you cannot keep for a life you cannot lose. It is trading the temporary goods of this world for unending, secure treasure. No matter how much or how little you may have in ability, opportunity,or wealth, you can manage your life in such a way as to be really rich.
